[ABOUT 10P FREDRIKSTAD]10th Planet Fredrikstad will be the second official 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu affiliate in Norway, located at Rolvsøyveien 205, Fredrikstad.
We offer a full schedule of training:
Advanced 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu — Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Shooto & Combat Jiu Jitsu — Fridays
Open Mat — Saturdays
Mastering The Warm Ups (Beginner Program) — Monday through Thursday before the advanced class
10P NoGi Kids (13+) — Two sessions per week
(NB! These classes are for kids who already have experience in Jiu Jitsu or other relevant martial arts!)
Our Beginner Program (Mastering The Warm Ups) is highly structured, technical, safe, and slow-paced, providing a solid foundation for new students to safely enter the world of no-gi grappling and prepare for advanced training.

[GRAND OPENING]10P Fredrikstad is set for its Grand Opening on September 1st, led by Frode Nilsen, founder of 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Bergen — Norway’s first official 10th Planet affiliate, established 10years ago, August 2015. Frode is a 10th Planet Black Belt and certified Moonhead directly under Eddie Bravo.
A former professional MMA fighter, long-time 10th Planet Ronin, and dedicated student of various grappling arts, Frode first discovered the rubber guard and lockdown game during shootfighting sessions in 2006. Instantly drawn to 10th Planet’s unorthodox and creative style of pure NOGI Jiu Jitsu, he has been immersed ever since.
In addition to his 10th Planet Black Belt, Frode holds a 1st Dan Black Belt in Japanese Ju Jutsu, a 1st Dan Black Belt in Kickboxing, and became the Norwegian Sanshou Champion in 2009. His journey began in Greco-Roman wrestling as a child, accumulating over 27 years of martial arts experience across multiple disciplines.
Frode is also the creator of the Frodoplata submission, which led to the development of the Gogoclinch within the 10th Planet system.
Recognized as a highly technical instructor with a deep passion for Jiu Jitsu, Frode is fully committed to guiding every student — whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced practitioner — through thorough, structured, and highly effective training sessions.
