[ADVANCED NOGI | 10TH PLANET JIU JITSU]

These classes are high-paced and highly technical. To participate, you are required to know the 10th Planet Warm-Up Curriculum, as the warm-ups are run on a timer with little to no instruction.

After the warm-up of the day, we move into technical drilling and/or positional sparring, focusing on applying techniques in live situations. Classes always finish with free rolling.

At 10th Planet Fredrikstad, we train the full spectrum of Jiu Jitsu — all submissions are legal. No restrictions. You’re encouraged to explore and sharpen your complete game in a safe and controlled environment.

[MASTERING THE WARM UPS | BEGINNER PROGRAM]

No prior experience needed — perfect for beginners!

Mastering The Warm Ups (MTW) is your entry point into the 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu system. These classes are slow-paced, fun, and technical, designed to give you a solid foundation.

In this class, we focus on the 10th Planet Warm-Up Curriculum — 8 sets of technical sequences, each containing 4 flows, covering key themes of the no-gi game. You will systematically learn, drill, and master these movements.

We also include mobility and movement work to prepare your body for the advanced class. Each session ends with a small amount of safe, controlled sparring, gradually introducing live application in a beginner-friendly environment.

[SHOOTO FRIDAY]

At Shooto Friday, we practice applying our Jiu Jitsu in an MMA context. A lot changes when strikes and kicks are introduced — adding a whole new level of stress and realism to the training. We also mix it up with Combat Jiu Jitsu (CJJ) rounds — grappling with slaps allowed!

Your Jiu Jitsu game should be able to withstand the lens of no-rules fighting (Vale Tudo). To truly call your Jiu Jitsu solid, it needs to be functional and effective even under these conditions. Testing and exploring your game in such an open setting is especially valuable if self-defense is part of your goal.

This is a fast-paced and challenging class — but it’s not a fight club. Everything is carefully structured and conducted with a strong focus on safety, ensuring long-term development in a controlled environment.

[10P NOGI Kids 13+]

The classes at 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Fredrikstad are primarily geared towards older teens and adults, But, we have added two weekly classes for kids aged 13 and up called 10P NOGI Kids 13+, which will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17:00 to 18:00. (See schedule)

NB! These classes are for kids who already have experience in Jiu Jitsu or other relevant martial arts! If your child has no prior experience, they will need to participate for a certain period in the Fit For Fight General Martial Arts Program, which is specially tailored towards kids, in order to build a solid foundation and basic understanding before joining the 10P Fredrikstad NOGI program. This requirement is in place to ensure the safety of all participants.

[HYBRID MMA STRIKING]

Shootboxing is a very open and dynamic striking discipline — essentially the stand-up component of MMA. It draws from Boxing, Kickboxing, K-1, Muay Thai, Sanda, and even incorporates elements of Wrestling and standing submissions.

Our Shootboxing classes are highly structured and focused on safety, ensuring an optimal environment for long-term development. Sessions are high-paced and physically demanding, so you can expect both technical growth and a solid workout.
